Kenwood House

Activities for all the family.

Set on the Highgate side of Hampstead Heath, Kenwood House is one of North London’s hidden gems.

The house itself and the interior are stunning as are the gardens. There is a lovely café with excellent food and both inside and outside seating. Kenwood’s beauty lies on offering something for everyone, especially for children and families.

The recently refurbished Orangery is dedicated kids’ zone providing a perfect setting for hands-on activities to stay and play. It’s a truly wonderful space with a fantastic range of multi-sensory toys.

Make tea with the wooden tea set or pack your explorer backpacks and have a wonder around the house.

Come and explore new things every week. Activities include story telling, rhyme time and creative crafts with friendly and helpful staff on hand to keep your little one occupied. Kids can also spend time enjoying self-led toys using Kenwood’s family activity boxes.

First Sunday of every month, £1, 12-4pm
Families will get to work together to try out different art and crafts whilst exploring the house and finding out more about its collections bringing Kenwood’s world famous paintings to life.
